Hi, I am Charl Smith. Owner, photographer and videographer at Magma Media. When I do headshots, people often refer to me as; the headshot guy. I really loved that and decided to "own" that title.

With over 20 years of experience as a professional photographer, I’ve worked with both local and international clients—photographing everyone from CEOs, difficult brides, celebrities and entrepreneurs and even the President of South Africa. Whether in boardrooms, studios, or fast-paced corporate settings, I know how to put clients at ease and bring out their best. My calm, efficient approach and eye for detail ensure polished, professional results—no matter who’s in front of the lens.
